Such a wonderful place we literally didn't want to leave. Added a couple of days on our stay but finally had to leave. The best snorkeling on the island right in front of Mimas. We saw lots of fish, squid, lobster, rays, starfish etc. Will add some pictures of the fish we saw there once we get back home to TX. The coral was so healthy especially to the right of the beach . Memo is a wonderful host who took great care of us. If you're lucky you will hear beautiful singing from the lady who cleans the condos. Can't wait to come back!
What a perfect place! The villa is spacious, clean, beyond well equipped and oh so comfortable! The host Paul is the BEST! He is knowledgeable, kind and hilarious!! And if, like us, you prioritize snorkeling... This is the spot! Truly the best snorkeling from shore you can ask for. We will absolutely be back...I wish we didn't have to leave!!
My family stayed here ranging from a week to a month. We visited for 3 days. The views are incredible, the rooms are decent and well kept although my parents room didn't have a TV. Memo is a wonderful host. He knows the island well. If you stay here, ask him for recommendations, you won't be disappointed. The food they cook at the little beachside shack in front is amazing! It's walkable to a few bars and restaurants but a little ways from town. It's not super close to big, public sandy beaches, but snorkeling right in front is pretty amazing, especially if you make your way towards the docks. It was a great experience overall. If you're looking for a place a little off the beaten path and you're lucky enough to find a room here, book it!
We had a very nice stay at Mima‘s Village, a place little outside of the main tourist spots with a great view in the sundowner. Some people came to that beach place just for this. Short walks to beach clubs for snorkeling or food. Recommended to have a scooter or jeep to come around. Small issues on the first day (shower/air condition) were immediately fixed by friendly host Memo. Free purified water in the room. Best value for price in Cozumel!
The experience was incredible. The most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. Mima’s Village was clean, Memo was super caring, he helped us with everything we needed. The beach in front of the Village is for snorkeling and they lent us the necessary equipment. Highly recommended! Thank you we can’t wait to go back to that paradise!
Cozy, quiet, out if the way, right across the street from the sea! Can hear waves and smell the water. Nice rooms and fairly well equipped kitchen.
We stayed the last week of June 2022. Great location! Superb service! Spectacular view! Fantastic value with the great view and quiet location! You can snorkel right across the street!! Has a pool and a yard area. Has AC, a full kitchen, large fridge. Taxi pickup was easy or a simple drive if you rent a car. Beach clubs in both directions. We arrived late and did not have coffee for the morning and Mimo was able to help out and give us a ride to town so we could get some groceries. Would stay here again!
What a great location. Great snorkeling right out front of the unit. Memo is a great host and makes you feel right at home. He can help arrange for a snorkel or dive tour as well as a car rental. The unit is nice and clean on a quiet side street with an air conditioning unit in the bedroom making the hot summer months comfortable for sleeping. Definitely a great place to stay in Cozumel.
